Put simply, Yoga uses a system of movements, stretches and breathing exercises that can lead to balancing your mind, body and spirit.  Yoga is becoming more popular with all age groups as it has been proven to be beneficial for many health reasons.

In 1983 I received a diploma from the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Ashram in India. I also attended classes at the Iyengar Institute, London with senior teachers. I taught in London from 1983 to 1993 combining both disciplines in my classes and now I am delighted to teach at ’The Yoga Studio' in Poole.

I’m worried about my flexibility, would I be able to keep up?

You would go at your own pace in the class, it’s not a competition and you would learn to listen to your body whilst challenging yourself to move further within your own level of capability.

What should I wear?

Leggings, jogging pants or any comfortable sports wear.

at the ‘The Yoga Studio’ - £8 per class.
